About The Swanson House
The Swanson House is located on one and one-half acres of tree-shaded grounds. It is a delightfully peaceful place, cooled by breezes from Narragansett Bay, yet within minutes of all of Bristol's attractions and restaurants.
Accommodations
The Swanson House guest suite is available for one couple or family at a time. It sleeps up to four people. It is the entire second floor of our home. It consists of a large, quiet bedroom looking out onto perennial gardens. This room has a queen-size bed. A second bedroom also has a queen-size bed. The third room of the suite is a sitting room. The suite comes with a private, full bath as well as a half-bath.
Our guests have their own private entrance at the front door of our home and there is off-street parking. The terrace is available for relaxing and the garden for playing croquet.
We are within walking distance of historic downtown Bristol, Blithewold Mansion and Gardens, the Herreshoff Marine Museum and Roger Williams University.
